GL1800 Radio problem

hi, i am new to this page and i want to thank everyone in advance for any help they might give me. i have a Honda Goldwing 1800 and i am having a issue with the audio system. i am in need of parts. i am looking for some place that sells the rubber membrane that sits between the buttons and circut board on the head unit. i have looked on the gl1800 page but not having much luck. they told me of someone who could repair a radio but i do not need to send it to someone to repair because i already know what is wrong. Problem is i can not find a place to order the membrane. (note Lesson learned the hard way. if your buttons are sticking DO NOT SPRAY WITH CONTACT CLEANER or other lubes:sadguy:) Thank you again for all your help.

try sierra electronics, they may steer you in the right direction. http://www.sierra-mc.com/
Wayne from Sierra is a member of the forum. I sent him a PM, he might be able to advise you later.
I believe i spoke to Someone at Sierra already. Unless they have different divisions. Will wait and see what hue says. Thanks. Debbyc
debbyc, I believe you called Jeff Saturday and he replied that none of the membranes were available in US. Part # is VMG1295
Try Larry from the 1800 riders board. He upgrades the radios on 01-05 models (you didn't say what year your own 1800 is) and there may be a chance (although a slim one) he has the part you need laying about his workshop. Larry's web page is here:
