I have a 2002 wing with a right front rotor that has .030 ths run out. the left side has .007 ths. looks like some ham fisted mechanic might have bent it. I do have pulsating grabby brakes and i would imagine this to be the cause. I am going to take it to my buds machine shop to see if i can straighten it. how much run out is acceptable ? new ones are 368.01 dollars each. bike bandit has them for 267.00 dollars. grrrrrrrrrrr:lash:

ok"thanks guys. i figured 30 thou was way to much. i bought the bike this way but was not aware of this and i don't think the owner was either. he had the bike serviced at beaverton honda in oregon and so far everything i have had to do to this bike was "mucked up by that dealer. it's the only place he had it serviced. had 54,000 miles on it when i bought it. i just replaced the brake pads and changed the fork oil and found the bent rotor as i was about to put on a new tire. and i know if you are going to change the tire on the ground with a couple of tire irons you need to remove the rotors or take a chance on bending something. i will remove them and check the mounting but i doubt that is the problem. not to sure about buying used from sleazebay or craigslist. might end up with the same crap i already have.
