Can anyone tell me where I can get a service manual for a 2010 GL1800...I have the book service manual...but would like one that on a CD or DVD disk...? I have one that was given to me, but its for like a 2005 or so GoldWing. I heard that they were made, as I have one but as I said the one I have is a old one for 2005 or so...would like to
get one for a 2010. Anyone have any info of a CD or DVD disk version...?

It is my understanding that they do not make the service manual on disc for the later models, (2009 and up?)

Do you know or have any idea WHY they stopped doing that...? I do not mind the book, but when your hands are dirty...sure is nice to just print of the page or pages you need....or have your laptop sitting there so you can view things. Sure makes doing a search much easier and faster then flipping pages in a book.

So then what is the last year model that had the service manual on a disk....? Anyone one...anyone have the last model year that was out. If its 2009 that would be great as how much really changed between 2009 and 2010...I think next to nothing.

Hey there Nova, I am not sure of the last year that they put out the manual on a disk.. I think over on the GL1800riders forum, that someone has a link for a downloadable copy.. it has been so long since I have seen that link.

Anyways, the Fred Harmon is much better then the service manual on disk IMHO, Because it pretty much covers it all and SHOWS an actual video of it being done. here is the link to those.. http://www.angelridevideos.com/gl1800.html


If that cost is prohibitive, here are the illustratedpowersports dvd that I had mentioned in your other thread, while it does not go into all the things that the Fred Harmon does. It does do the top shelter and most of the Routine stuff.

The Honda disc doesn't have even half the information that the paper manual contains. The paper manual is more comprehensive and more value for money.

Print the pages of interest and greasy fingers don't matter as the origanal is clean and safe in your library.

It actually has everything the paper manual has + more. Unfortunately the last one is the 06-08. It contains the complete service manual, owners manual, parts manual and ETM + some videos. The only difference in the 09-10 models is the addition of TPMS.
Either paper or DVD is available from HELM inc.

I have both the CD and paper manuals for the Gl1500. The paper manual has much more and the CD is disappointing. Glad they fixed his for the 1800.

Helm prints the manuals for Honda, and every other manufacturer. It is the genuine Honda manual.
