I have a 2006 1800 and I’m wondering if folks have upgraded their speakers and if so what brand and where did you get them? I’m interested in upgrading both the front and the rear but with something that requires NO [/b]modifications.

Most upgrade speakers need some modifications for mounting. This page has some excellent information for upgrading.

That's good info Larry, but if the Polk DB501 (5")are a bit too small, maybe the Polk DB521 (5.25") would fit better?

I have read a lot about Polk speaker for Gl1500,(DB401-DB501) but for GL1800? Which model could fit front and rear holes?
