I have Brigstones excedra for my front tire and a Dunlop E3 for my rear tire. How do I know when they need to be replaced? Are there wear bars on Motorcycle tires?

Yep, ALL tires have wear bars, and except for serious damage (not a simple tread puncture) I see the wear bars on all mine before they are replaced. As for the Bridgestone Excedra, that is what my Vulcan 750 came with stock, and it had wear bars.

Ok thanks so can anyone show me what I should be looking for because I can not seem to see them on either tire.

Look for little arrows around the sidewall of the tire, they point to the wear bars.

Post a photo of your tire and we will be able to point out the wear bar.
