hi wingers

can anyone advise me of the yellow
stator wires spec. please.
the po's have done a bad connection
job and possibly used the wrong
spec. of wire, causing them to burn
and blow a fuse. i've checked
all the manuals to try and find
the best spec. for this load bearing
wire. a guy told me 30A.

please can anyone advise me!

many thanks!

Angel. :)

12g wire is minimum, better yet go to a motor shop and ask for #12 g high temp, gas /oil resistant motor lead wires, they are fine multi-strand wires and will withstand, high amps, hot temperatures, cold temperatures and 1000Volts. Use heat shrink to surround and resin core solder. The 3 yellow wires should be cut at different lengths to keep the joints staggered, then bind with scotch 33 electrical tape then Ty-wrap to the bike frame. If done well, you will never have a problem with these AC wires again.
