What gloves do you guys recommend? I have a pair of fingerless leather gloves and my hands sweet like crazy. I haven't found any air mesh gloves I like yet. Thanks for the help!

Motoport (www.motoport.com) Kevlar Racing Gloves - expensive, but very comfortable even in hot, humid weather. I have no regrets buying them.

I second the Motoport choice.

They're good folks here, nearby. The Boyer family are all enthusiasts, and all ride as well as sell custom-made gear.

They put a lot of engineering and thought into everything they build. http://www.motoport.com/

I use these at the track:

I have some of these for street riding and commuting:

And I have some of these, too:

http://www.motoport.com/index.php?option=com_redshop&view=product&pid=124&cid=14&Itemid=15

I have not tried these yet:

Sizing Guide:

I'm fortunate that they are a 20min ride away from me, and I can stop in for accurate sizing, and custom tailoring.

Which ones do you have? I was looking to find them but wow I never knew there were so many gloves out there! LOL

Since your out west in Desert heat I guess, do they keep your hands dry and cool when riding long periods, or hot and sweaty hands?

I know if I buy good gloves and my hands are hot and sweaty much of the time I'll end up not wearing them much.

WOW, that Kevlar stuff is HIGH priced clothes.
Nice stuff but too expensive for me.
I was looking at the jackets and pants.

I think I will blow the airbags on a couple junk cars and make my own clothes LOL

I have a pair of ICON TWENTY NINER gloves. They have them at the Motorcycle Superstore for $35.00. They are worth it, I love mine. The back is Armor/Mesh with little airfoils to direct air to your fingers and the palm side of the glove is leather. They are the best warm weather gloves I've ever had!

Your hands sweet? You're lucky. Mine stink after only a short ride. I'm looking at Icon Pursuit gloves, but I hear they run small and I need to try them on before I buy.

Thanks for the reminder, I need to go take a look at who mademy perforated gloves. They are getting pretty tired, the backs are brown now instead of black. It's surprising how much the backs have faded compared to the palms. I used some leather dressing on them today and some of the color came back.

I carryfour pairs of gloves on the bike, mesh, deerskin unlined with gauntlets, and my Gerbings which act as a cool weather glove without being plugged in and as heavy duty when plugged in and my waterproof fleece lined pair. I can't bear cold hands due to some damage I did to them years ago indumb incident that gave me a good dose of frostbite. My hands have been extremely sensitive to cold ever since.

I have perforated thin leather gloves from Paragon that I wear when it`s hot and they work good. no padding anywhere. I don`t understand how you guys can wear fingerless gloves - my fingers get cold instantly.

I wear very cheap fingerless gloves. ($15 @ Walmart) My finger tips don't get cold and then again I don't ride much in Michigan.
(Been there, done that got the birth certificate)
My palms don't get sweatty either. Not sure why as the rest of me ......well I won't get into that. Then again I only have about 2300 miles of experience in the last 74 days.

I use elk skin gloves most of the time, but have two pair of ballistic gloves for winter use. Both are too hot for summer wear. and bulky....
