Like many other Irish Goldwing owners :leprechaun:, I will be heading forthe land of our ould enemythis week to attend the 2005 Treffen in the UK. For those in far off landswho don't know, this is the annual pilgrimage thatwe alwayslook forward to attending so that we can meet friends, get a new pin forour jackets and buy T-shirts with rude slogans, raise our cholesterol levels by eating fatty burgers from Luigi's stall (hard to resist them)and be relieved of large wads of cash for shiny bits. Also in my case I have to buy new riding kit for my son Dylan, as he has been very inconsiderate this year and taken a big stretch in height. Even less money for shiny bits. Oh yes, Dylan is looking for a Chucky doll (remember the Child's Play film), so if anyone has one of these they will sell me, please send me a PM or justbring it along and ask for me, I'm usually to be found where the shiny bits for sale are, or near the Irish flag.
The Thursday morning 0650 ferry from Dublin's North Wall will most likely see the car deck hogged with Goldwings.

Of course this means that I won't be answering e-mails or PM's from this Wednesday evening until the following Monday or Tuesday. So if anyone needs to contact me about the forum or web site while I am away, well that's tough luckreally :p. If they try to contact wexman, well that's probably going to be even tougher luck because I think he will be going to the UK as well. Mind you, he has been known to bring his laptop away with him, so for those desperate to seek contact with someone "official" (apart from Redwing that is), there is a bit of hope.

Just because the cats will be away doesn't mean that a slide into lawlessness will go unnoticed. Redwing keeps a list, and names will no doubt be added to it...

Just kidding of course. Sorry for any inconvenience in advance, I'll respond to any e-mails and PM's next week. :waving:

Good man Ciaran, you're a martyr to the cause! Redwing will probably be a bit miffed that he isn't getting the keys to the house after all! See you soon. :waving:

Have a great trip. All pocket knives and guns are stored away while you are gone. Promise not to start any discussions any more controversial then do Deer whistles work.
