there was a CB550 inline.I swore that in the early 70's they had a CB 550 inline 4 cylinder like the 750 !
My friend had one in 73 !
Just saw your pic of the bike, they had a naked version of the "Silver Wing" !
I do not know if they made them with a 550.Take aLook on ebay under Silverwing,,,there are both the GL and interstates for sale right now....seeing for yourself might be best....they are the same bike with and without the fairing ect.ok so they did make them with 550cc then, now what is the difference in the interstate and regular ones, and is it good for traveling or is it best used around the city can you give me any ideas, I have never really rode it my dad gave it to me so thats why I am asking all teh questions
I would guess it would be better in the city and some traveling, just depends on you, after you ride it a while you will know how far you want to go.. with one person it should do ok.a long trip with 2 riders might be pushing it. lots of people have gone many many miles on smaller bikes than 550s.I would say, get it running and see how you feel about it..thanks for the info dean, is teh silver wing good for traveling or just around the city
Look a little harder,Dean i have checked out ebay and that is a honda silver wing scooter and a silver wing motorcycle
