I do not know if they made them with a 550.Take aLook on ebay under Silverwing,,,there are both the GL and interstates for sale right now....seeing for yourself might be best....they are the same bike with and without the fairing ect.

Dean i have checked out ebay and that is a honda silver wing scooter and a silver wing motorcycle

I would guess it would be better in the city and some traveling, just depends on you, after you ride it a while you will know how far you want to go.. with one person it should do ok.a long trip with 2 riders might be pushing it. lots of people have gone many many miles on smaller bikes than 550s.I would say, get it running and see how you feel about it..

The Silver Wing scooter is a seperate animal from the older Silver Wing bikes !
