yesterday i stoped at the cable office to get a new internet modem i noticed in the parking lot a very nice GL1200 interstate it had two helmets sitting on the seat, on going in the office i noticed only one couple in the place so i figured it was theirs, they got out long before i did so i figured no chatting with them, when i walked out they were waiting on me since they thought the other wings was mine, we chatted for like 30 minutes great people, i passed on this site and the bit about the 3 yellow wires on the 1200's we looked at his and some one in the past had cut the connector out and all we could tell was the wires were taped up maybe soldered maybe just twisted together, no idea. i hope they join us here some time soon.

Cool, I was on a PGR mission the other day and after I stopped to get gas for the ride home I spotted a SUV pulling a trailer with a nice looking 1200 on it. I chased them down as they turned into an empty parking lot and found out the guy had just bought it for $2000 with only 48,000 miles showing on it.

I gave him my card and the website so he could check us out. He even called me about 1/2 hr ago wanting to know if I knew anyone that worked on Goldwings besides the dealers. I told him most of us do our own work.

I do know a mechanic that may work on it for him but I want to check with him first before I pass on the information.

My wife tells me that whenever we stop, a Goldwing rider crawls out from under a rock somewhere and we end up talking for a half hour or more. I keep telling her that Goldwing riders are just very friendly.
