I did a search on Google a little while ago for a Service Manual for my 2008 GW and came up with this site.

http://motoservicemanuals.blogspot.com/2009/03/honda-gl-1800-service-manual.html

I downloaded the PDF File and sure enough it is an almost 800 page manual with all of the juicy details so I thought I would pass it along!

Peter, am I missing something on my computer? All the manuals for the early Wings are available but I only see the 1994 Service Manual for the 1500s and the 2001-2005 Service Manual for the 1800s. A lot of Owner's Manuals are not there yet, either. Or am I looking at the wrong place?

It seems as thought there was somebody on this site who had offered to distribute the '06-'08 version, then changed his mind. It just takes one person to scan the whole 2" binder worth of pages..... I just bought one when I got the bike, not that expensive.

I have the " boat anchor" version, along with the etm. But, it'd be nice to be able to print out a page every once in awhile, and take the manual along on trip, without lugging the "boat anchor".

Scanning your own book is okay.

The newer versions though, to scan and then put on the internet? Risky from a legal stand point.

If we can afford to buy a m/c in the 15 to 20 to 30 grand price range, why get excited about paying for the OEM manual?

It's too bad they (Helm) don't offer the DVD cheap, when buying the "boat anchor". Surely, most of the cost of the DVD is the material, not the disk itself, and I already own the material.
