To bad we can't temporary attach a mini-spike strip around our Wings tires so we can use it in inclement weather.
Last night was the second time I couldn't get out due to ice in our loooong alley.
Salt didn't work to well on it, to cold.
That's how I learned to fall off a bike. Dead of winter on an OLD Honda with nobbie tires. Lots of fun, but then again, I was much younger, and much more flexible, and well, fearless to a point. Yes, turning and stopping, they were a bit of a challenge, but, I think I ride a little better because of it..
12 miles in 3' of snow with the knees gripping the bike and the feet used as outriggers. The rear wheel was spinning, and the front wheel worked like a rudder.
This was on a Honda Cub 90 and I was much younger too. No way I would ever try that on a wing.
