This should most likely not the correct place for this, but.

What Model Goldwing 1000,1100,1200,1500 or 1800 has the most units still on the road.?????

Just a little trivia, question .

I,d hazard a guess the 1500 , though with the oldest 1800s now 12 yrs old they may be the largest # out here .

Thats a tough one. I see a lot of 1800's on the road. I also see a lot of 1500's as well andas I read this forum a lot of members still ride 1200's.

I would think that the limited number of years the 11/12's were produced that it would have to be 15/1800's... :gunhead:

I seldom see a 1000 or 1100, see occasional 12's, but mostly 1500's and 18's.

If I were to hazard a guess I'd go with 1500's.

Have to agree although I ride a 1200 just the number of years 1500's were produced as mentioned above would give that bike the Nod..But if you just covered 4 years of production of any of the bikes I would say the 1800 would be first..then the 1500 and close behind the 1200.

I don't know the answer either, but it was just a thought. I would agree it's either 1200 or 1500.

I really don't see that many 4 bangers on the road any more. And since I ride a 12, I'd suspect I'd be more aware when I saw one, but...I see more 15s I'd guess.

The real gooser is I see, easily, 5 cruisers to every 'Wing. Most of those are H-D brand. Appearantly, nobody wants to buy junky new GoldWings. :(

must be something about the west side..I see all kinds of 1200's over here. But you are right I see lots more 15's and 18's on the open road then 12's.

What I did see more of during my last long haul was those Victory Cross country models. saw a few of those big ugly cruisers they make but chatted with one guy outside of Anaconda that just traded in his 1500 for the Cross country. He seemed happy with the victory but said he really liked the 1500 it was just time and he didn't like the 1800.
