I guess with Port Huron it depends on whether the fish was travelling north or south when you caught him.

Read about Destin.. The LUCKEST Fishing Village in the WORLD! I guess I could use what you catch as bait.

Hey now that's cruel. Lake trout in the lakes run up to 60lb; 20 and 30pounders are common.:clapper:

Rumor has it that Florida fish flunk out of public schools...and besides, not everyone wants to get a passport to go down there...:cheeky1:

I love fishing in river rapids with my little lightweight rod/reel. Nothing like throwing out a tiny 1/8oz Mepps and wrangling in a 2# smallmouth, wondering if your 6# test line will hold.

Yes, that was cruel. I am sorry.

Still, sadly, I do use some mighty big Bonita for bait.

On a side note, do you have any idea how many Really LARGE Red Snapper it takes to feed a 1,200 LB Jew Fish?

The Fish and Wildlife Division are afraid of letting a few Scuba Divers bag a Goliath Grouper because of the impact on their numbers.. the Oldest and Largest Groupers do not even spawn anymore, but they sure do eat! If I were a Scuba Diver approaching an aggressive 1,200# Grouper (Basically a bass), I would be afraid I would be sucked up like a worm and never spit out.

Nope!
No good fishing spots around here - None.

I fished quite a bit before I bought my first wing a couple of years back. Went out just about every evening to a lake just outside town. Lake Jacksonville has been rated the best Bass lake in the state of Illinois.

But if you put fishing in on hand and riding in the other - I like to ride a little more than I like to fish.
