Anyone have a good mail order goldwing OEM parts source? I DO spend a lot of money at my local dealer to keep a good relationship going, but I also like to save a little $ on the big parts once in a while. Thanks, Bob

.for (cruising ) accessories helmets, gloves, bag liners, covers .. I really like Dennis Kirk enterprises.. mostly 'cause they are SO helpful  on  the phone.../forums/images/emoticons/emoticonsxtra/waving.gif. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/np/Category.jsp?store=Main&catId=4 for some electrical : Electrical Connections ( I own a 1200 ... big surprise ./forums/images/emoticons/tongue.gif..lol...), and JC Whitney  but for most  actual parts ... brakes, bolts, etc.. the shipping and border duty seems to put them on a par with my local honda dealer/forums/images/emoticons/mad.gif... sadly  and a few things were even cheaper at the Canadian Honda dealer... Recent examples.... muffler crush gaskets ($5.25 on Internet, and $3.75 at the dealer, and  starter brushes... about 22 % cheaper than what I could easily find on the internet.. SilverDave /forums/images/emoticons/emoticonsxtra/cooldj.gif

Greetings to all,

Several of you might have seen my posts regarding the installation of lightbulbs into thesaddlebag lights on my brand new 1800. They are not fitted to my bike as it is built to Australian specs and they are not required. I phoned the Honda dealer where I bought the bike from asking him to price bulbs, bulbholders and sub-harnesses. After two days he came back with prices that are unbelievable and quoted delivery of 3-4 weeks. Heorders the parts from the sole importer of Hondas in New Zealand, theyorder from Japan, they in turn order from America, so by the time I get the parts 4 people have put their mark-up on.

Anyway I would just like to thank Mr 1200 (Guru) for his post on suppliers. I sent an email to Hondaonline parts and they have all the parts in stock for a fraction of what I would have paid down here. You can imagine what I told the dealer, but he said his hands are tied as to where he can get his parts.

Regards to all,

John S
