I'm over at another Goldwing forum viewing threads by other members and a 'Serial Spammer'. Every 7 minutes a post pops up with senseless drivel, good security software to screen the nonsense is important as are careful eyes of the members.
This forum does all it can to keep problems away and keep the members happy.
I went there to see how a member was doing with his 2018 Goldwing that is acting like a pinball machine and I instead get Spam-a-rama. I do my part I hit the button with the ! in it and report the spam. >:)

yes,
I looked it before Scott had a chance to clean it up.

3 pages or more of that Russian dribble......
so glad, that we instituted the Rigid Arm & Hammer approach to our new posters, they don't even get the enjoyment of seeing their crap display....

when I see new spam posts, usually only 2 show up for the mods, and they leave.

I had to just hit Mark Forum Read and leave.... unable to enjoy anything there earlier.

It would be great if it did go to a garbage bin and then the posters account frozen. I'm trying to enjoy being over there but so far I have a mop and bucket hitting the ! and reporting the nonsense. I sent Scott a PM about the mess I don't know when he gets home and will read it and remove the spammer. Sad thing is the members see the post but they don't report it.
I couldn't even focus on the Schwan's Home Delivery catalog to see what they offer, lately the quality of the meat at the local supermarket has dropped and prices went up, one of the residents buys from Schwan's. Will give them a chance, as I refuse to pay high $$ for poor quality.
Now with these new IPs, I have to use a different checker and find out through the loop where its from, its a big PITA but I still check.

I'm running a new hot spot that is for low income users and its IP6. I was paying over $60.00/month and it was eating a lot of my budget and now I have one through PCs for People that I'm using. It had some hiccups and I had to call Sprint to fix the problem, it turns out the hot spot needed an update.
The mess is finally cleaned up on the other site.
