Are you sure you cant read. Because i never asked how to test the stator. And why would i ask if i own a clymer manual?

wish u all the best with your project and bring it back to life.I'v done it with mine and i love it, except the fact thatgetting old makes it hard at times to get some parts but the bike itself( IS A CHARM... )All the best....

By the way all the problems you listed i Had and fixed easy so there is hope
