gucky intake valves

hi removed the intake tubes on my 1100 gw and found very hard gummy coated

intake valves.

question can i squirt carb cleaner or some other medium into the open ports to clean the

valves? and then

of course change the oil to get rid of the crap??

I would get some Berrymans fuel injector cleaner use the kind you pour from the can.The spray will also work but not as fast. Most times this stuff will make the valves look like new again. works better than seafoam on dirty carb jets!!

How do you apply it? sprinkle some on, or put it in a spray bottle? Also where do you get this Berrymans stuff?

AutoZone and many other auto parts places carry Berrymans products. GOOD STUFF! The Berrymans carb cleaner is all I use. Gewt on the phone and call around first, eh.
