Hand Grips

Let me start by stating that I am 6'4" and have big hands. As a result the grips that come on the wing cause my hands to cramp up. I feel like I have to curl my hands much tighter than normal.

Are there replacement grips that are larger in diameter for those of us with big hands??

Aren't those for the heated grips? I like the looks of them and the ones for the non heated grips.

How much bigger are they?

Thanks for the info, I ordered a pair. The price has gone up to 10.70, but that is still cheap with free shipping.

California Sport Touring Grip Puppies for the Goldwing.

I'll let you know how they fit, and how well I fit them.

Sometimes it sucks being taller and bigger than the average. Just try finding jeans at the big box stores or Costco that have 36" inseam. Or shoes size 15.

Of course there are advantages to. Not to many people mess with you.:)

Thanks Frank, The ISO Grips I saw on another wing look like they were similar in size to the original.

I just went with the ISO Grips for the same reason,,,,,,, hands would cramp. Haven't had a chance for a full days ride with them yet,,,,,, but enough to know they are better then the oringinals. I did get caught in a rain the other day and noticed I was able to keep my grip much better.

Good to see your still with us Henry,,,,,,,, any chance your going to Montrose??

The ISO grips are considerably bigger Henry. I had the same problem with the stock grips. It was my first upgrade on both my 1200 and my 1500. You can check out mine when we hook up. :action: The ISO grips also have a throttle rocker/cramp buster accessory. Even on a bike with cruise control, there are sometimes when you don't want to run with it on, and withthe throttle rocker you just rest the palm of your hand on it and with a slight rock you can add or release throttle. :) I'll show you that too.
