I wanted to put bar ends on the 1500 but Honda has plugged the end with steel ,probably for dampening. Does anyone know how far into the handlebar the steel plug goes? I drilled 3/8" and stopped. Have you put bar ends on your bike? Also,the wing grips are longer than normal therefore harder to find. My other roadbikes have bar ends and I just like them for a couple reasons. thx
