hey guys

may sound like a silly question but here goes

I want to fit chrome and foam grips to my 86 1200GL

can anyone tell me the handlebar diameters

there are so many on the market eg. 1 inch , 22 and 25 mm, 7/8th. . . . .

Someone else may jump in to correct me, but I am pretty sure that all wings have 7/8" bars.

1" (25.4mm) handlebars are pretty much Harley

A lot of the newer cruiser imports have 1" bars, at least my 1100 and 650 Yamahas did.
