Hey guys,

Anyone have any details on the installation of Kuryakyn Handlebar riser kit for the wing kit # 7437?

I've got the front panel up and loose, but now...the speaker wire connectors under the rubber boot are giving me a fit to pull out. Is their a tab that must be pressed down on this connector...Haven't found this yet. Any advice out there?

the lock tab sits in the connector on the side facing away the magnet of the speaker.

it is in the midle sektion of the connector , and protected by two raised plastic parts of the connector , one on each side of the lock tab. the lock tab has to be pressed in.

Well now, I have the 2 speaker wires disconnected! The main wiring connector next to the steering head is a handful of problems now...can't pull it apart...does anyone know where to press to release the lock on this connector?

Well, finished that modification...but still need some additional help. I completed the left bar first. Just Perfect for me..up about 2 inches, back about an inch...then completed the right bar... but ....the right bar is lower than my left bar! and i'm certain that I followed the correct procedures! does anyone have any insight or suggestions?

Be sure you got the wedge piece the same way on both sides. With my eyes I had to look at it carefully to see the difference in thickness.

i see that you have found the lock tab. About these connectors - sometimes it is easier to take them apart when you first push them together and then pull , when you constantly apply pressure on the lock tab.
