Hannigan Parking LIght

I have a '96 SE Wing with 2000 Hannigan Astro sidecar. Suddenly the parking light on the car keeps coming on with the key in the off position. I turn the key off and the light is off, but after a few moments it suddenly comes on and stays on. Everytime I turn the switch on and off, the pattern repeats itself. Does anyone know what fuse drives this light and if that fuse can be pulled without adversely affecting other functions and if this problem is most likely simply a bad ignition switch or something else? Thanks.

I reckon you will have to track the parking light wire back to where it meets the loom in the Wing, you could have two chaffed wires making a slight connection.

Interestingly, the problem has not returned. The rig was trailered about 500 miles in some seious rain behind a motorhome and I suspect that water got in where it does not usually as once the bike dried out completely everything seems okay. thanks for the reply.

Wet wiring is a good possibility Randy. If you need it, the contact email for Hannigan is [email protected] and their site is at www.hannigantrikes.com but with luck your problem is solved.
