I brought a new hangar queen home tonight, I bought a 1982 Aspy, pretty sad shape but cheap. Guy partially dismantled it and then left it under a tarp for the past year, no way to treat a once fine old lady. Going to make this a winter project and see how close to new it can look. Maybe it will break even or make a slight profit, can't be the loss leader the last airplane was. I don't have the energy to take pictures like Gambler but I'll post a few from time to time to show how it's going. Probably won't start on it until late October, the weather hasn't gone to pot yet, gotta ride! When this one is finished it's not going to be the two tone brown that's on it now, it'll be a GREEN MACHINE, just like my old 1200, metallic Ford Jade Green!

No, the woman who hangs around here went with me to pick it up and helped unload it from the trailer. After these many years together she's pretty well inured to such and after many restoration projects of boats, airplanes, houses and now bikes she knows there will always be something. I think she's hoping I that if I have a heart attack and die it will be after the latest project is completed.

Andrew, Washington has riding weather through most of the winter, it just gets kinda wet at times and maybe a few days there might be a little snow and ice. But mostly the weather is ride-able.
