BADLY NEEDNEW rear tire forour '95SE sidecar rig! Know about the Dunlop ROF Wintersport but trying to locate factual info onANY other usable brand tire, which willfit GL1500 rear rim, to do my own comparison. NOT trying to 'beat a dead horse'!If there's something already documented,please point me to the files, so I canread them.Don'twish to clutterforum withre-hash of this subject! look up the Austone taxis tire. It's the only one left available this side of the pond. Used to be able to get the Comtract but they arenot importing them now.
I should be in NH by the end of Aug(on the bike this year)Lord willing.

The ones not available:
  • Federal Formoza (175/60R16),
  • Vredestein Comtrac (175/75R16).
The ones available:
  • Dunlop Wintersport ROF (175/60R16),
  • Bridgestone Turanza (175/60R16),
  • Austone (175R16 but closer to 175/75R16), and the
  • Dunlop Taxi Tire (Same as the Austone but a much higher price).
The only other option that one member used was a General (IIRC 195/55R16)
