What headlight bulb is the recommended one for the 1500 GW now . I've seen several mentioned but as of today what do you recommend? Thanks

H4 as said for the 1500.
98-2000 will need the ears cut off to fit and a shim kit from http://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/83/6959

Harbor freight has H4 bulbs for $8 each and they hold up and are bright.
Or put in a HID Bi-zenon 4300k(white color)kits @ $70-$100 for much brighter light, lower wattage draw, especially if you have a stock alternator still.
