Looking for a brighter headlight bulb for my 1200. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go over to the tech forum and do a search, there was a post on some using the Xenon bulbs as replacements.

There is a good selection of +30% brightness 55/60w bulbs available now from all the main bulb makers. I don't know what kind of bulbs fit the GL1200 but I would say your local auto parts shop will be able to match it with an extra bright version.

the 1200 uses the h4 to begin with. Swapping to the brighter buld is just a change out.

The only question is what one, and is there a way to drop power consumption without sacrificing light/safety?
