Hey gang... I wonder if any of you might be able to point me in the right direction. I have a 1980 gl1100 with a Clarion intercom/radio. My wife and I both have J&M headsets that I have modified to replace the in-helmet speakers with earbuds. It was kind of a cut and splice operation, but worked for a while. Now it appears that my headset is going bad (I think the connector where the lead plugs into the helmet) has a short in it. Anyway, I am looking to replace it, but would rather just get a system that uses earbuds instead of the speakers. Hopefully something that won't be too expensive. Any suggestions? I would still need to use the intercom so we can talk to each other while we ride (yes... after 30 years, we still talk to each other!)
