If you need the DIN connector and wire, try finding a PC keyboard extension cord for the older PC's with the larger plug. Just cut off the end you don't need.

My '85 1200A intercom uses the same 5 pin DIN as old PC keyboards. I used an extension and it had all 5 wires. It also had the plug molded on the wires for a better looking finish, plus a few less wires to solder. Some other intercoms do use the smaler DIN plugs.
