Installed an Edset for my wifes helmet last week before a trip. In the install instructions Ed recommended using ear plugs while using the headset. Had never done that before but figured Ed must know a little about headsets so we gave it a try. My wife and I were both very pleasantly surprised at the improved sound quality and lack of wind noise with the earplug/headset combo.
Since I've been riding for 30 years and using headsets for almost as long (homemade for the 1st several years) I thought I'd note this for the group as I had never heard of or tried the earplugs plus headset before and it does work very well.
If you've never tried it you will be surprised. We were.
