What is the part number for the Edset for an open face helmet that everyone is getting for so cheap?

Good question. The number I am seeing is NOT cheap when compared to say "chatterbox" kits
I know what you mean, the ones that I find are also higher than the J&M headsets:

Here are J&M's for $85.00 per set. Model for Full Face:

or Model for Open Face:

I am sorry, but I don't see howanyone can say thatthe Edsets are less expensive than J&M, unless you are looking at something that I cannot see.

The cheapestheadset I see is the Simple Sonics. These are $109.00 and do no include a microphone. A boom mic is another $50.00.

Can someone please provice a part number or a link to the page where a complete Edset can be purchased for less than $85.00? I'd love to get in on this!!!!!

GWNorm, your post says: "The basic one is great value and outperforms the J&M sets that are twice the price." What are you looking at? I do not find a single headset on the site that is $42.50 in price. (1/2 the cost of the J&M headsets)

Can you please provide a link to this great value?

Hey L8ndeb, I agree, the going rate and the "cheapest" set up I can find on Edsets.com is $159.00 for the Sonic Boomer. This appears to me to be their "value model" of headsets. I am just wondering how anyone can say that that price is 1/2 the cost of a J&M headset, unless they are comparing to the J&M Elite sets which are $229.00 each. Even if they are doing thisthe Edsetis still not 1/2 the cost of a J&M.

I still have yet to see anyone provide a link or part number for these "cheap" headsets. As far as I can tell, Edsets are the most expensive when compared to both J&M and Chatterbox. Maybe their quality is better that either J&M or Chatterbox, but as for cost, they are the more expensive of the three, unless someone can provide evidence that disputes this.
