Does anyone know if there are templates available for headstock foam inserts for the GL1800?

I recall vaguely seeing something somewhere many moons ago that it was possible to cut closed cell foam and insert it into the space in the top of the forks to cut down turbulence.

I am not sure how or if it would affect steering in any way though?

I would certainly appreciate any help anyone can give? Thanks
