Can anyone tell me whereisa good place to buy heated seats for my GL1500? Can you get the old seat converted or do you have to buy a new one?

Have definately seen heated mats that can be fitted under the fabric of the seat material but it was a while back and I didn't keep a link or anything, sorry, but they are out there. As I recall they were on the US side of the Big Pond. :)

Welcome to the Forum, jhardingo! :waving:

Just a thought. If you are looking primarilyfor an alternative to sitting on cold, hard vinyl, try a sheepskin.

It keeps your butt warmer in cooler/cold temps and cooler/drier in warm/hot temps.

If it is to keep you warm, you would be better off with a piece or two of heated clothing(jacket/pant liner(s))

I do like the sheepskin for comfort, summer and winter.

Us poor slobs who can't afford heated seats us a drug store 110v 60 watt heating pad ($10) and a little inverter. Either sit on it or zip it up in your jacket. Works great!
