I own a 1982 Aspy---I'm looking for a heel/toe shifter--- I find alot of them for GL 1200's. Is there a difference ??? Can one of my fellow winggers point me in the right direction as they have in the past???? Thank You in Advance..

Hi Fixitguy, yes there is definitely a difference. JC Whitney has the floor board with heel toe shifter for the GL1100. If you have not used and H/T shifter before (especially on a GoldWing) it does take some getting used to. It is all a matter of preference, I like mine, some people like the pegs and toe shifter.

Thanks Jack. I noticed the set in JC-- but I not sure I like the floorboards----decisions,decisions:stumped:.... Thanks again for the info, Manny....:waving:

With most models I have see, you get either boards and a H/T shifter OR stock pegs and shifter. I have never seen a H/T shifter that worked with the pegs. Not saying it's not possible, I just have never seen it.
