New to the forum-new to goldwings.Rode since I was 14 then stopped riding for 18 years-now its time to get back into one of my favorite past-times. Im a disabled Vet with multiple health problems -1 being a bad left hip I'm concerned as it is real difficult to get my foot from the ground to the shifter peg-when its on the ground it is fine just that restrictive range of motion for the task of lifting that leg. I have a poor energy level and hope it isn't too much for me (heart probs)if so I will have to sell it.I've had several bikes-BMW-Zundapp-triumph (2 of them)BSA-norton & a CB750K.I rode most of the old school bikes harleys-and early indians.
I lived in Massachusetts for the first 55 years and moved to Oklahoma in 2001.
My bike is a 1985 Interstste with 54,000 miles just got it 2 days ago -haven't got it home yet. I will be looking for a lot of info and ideas .
Thanks for having me on your site "Mr Bill"
