Thought I would jump in and say Hi to all. Been riding serious for two years on a beautiful 1983 Yamaha Venture. And am really looking forward to getting a Goldwing soon!! I ride back and forth between my home in Sugar Land and Springdale, AR (northwest corner of Arkansas) where I teach A&P Mechanics at Alpha Aviation Mission Outreach Center. Have a limited budget and am looking at maybe a '93 to '95 Aspencade, expecting that to be a better (smoother)ride. Don't hesitate to offer advice! And you cannot offend me either! LOL. Good to be here.

Well, I DID IT!! On my 60th birthday this past Friday, I purchased my first Goldwing - 1993 GL1500 Aspencade - and she is gorgeous. Jumped on her and rode back from Slidell, LA where I bought her, to Sugar Land, TX my home, and parked her out front for all to see. Then went inside and had a party.

Now I need to name her. Any suggestions?
