Hi gang...I've been reading Steve's information and tips here for a few years and used his resources to research Goldwings before I bought one a couple of years ago.

I have an 82 Aspencade that I stripped, so I spend most of my time at nakedgoldwings.com, which is a site a lot like this, except over there, we chop and strip our Wings.

So, because I still have some stuff left over from taking my bike apart, I thought I'd register here...something I have found over the past few years of vintage Honda ownership (I restored a 77 CB750K before my Wing...my best friend has the 750 now)...is that places like eBay are fine, but it's also nice to know your parts are coming from and going to like-minded people.

So, I'm looking forward to learning more about my Wing here...and to getting to know some of you folks as well.

Hey Steve..thanks for the Welcome. As I was saying, I pored over your materials when I was looking for a Wing a couple of years ago...super helpful facility you have here!

I probably would have bought an 84 1200 Standard if I could have found one, but they're quite scarce here in eastern Canada, whereas dressed 1100's were and are quite plentiful.

Yes, I suppose the Americans are all voting or perched around CNN watching what will either be history in the making or another "the Republicans stole the election!" kerfuffle.

As an aside, here in Canada our head of state (the Governor General) is a black woman originally from Haiti and in Nova Scotia we have a black woman currently serving as Lieutenant Governor and we've had a woman Prime Minister...so it's all old hat here!

That being said....I must turn on CNN and see what's going on down there...

Welcome to the forum, let me correct that....Welcome to "THE WORLD"S GREATEST GOLD WING FORUM" from Texas.....You say you have parts left over from stripping your wing ???? Post those items in the For Sale Wanted section of the forum...There are lots of us who might buy these items to up grade or replace worn, broken parts on ours.....
