Hello from Michigan

Just purchased my first Interstate. Found a 1981 GL1100 in CL for cheap that needs some major TLC. May be more than I can give her but willing to try to keep it from the Old Honda graveyards and ebay parts section.

I am a millwright so I have some background in mechanics. I live in a modest farming community near Flint Michigan.

Just wanted to say hello and thank you for such a great and informational site. I looked at alot of G.W. sites and this one seemed the best.

I appreciate the welcomes guys. I might as well ask here. I am doing away with the front fairing. What am I looking for that is a good bolt on front headlight can and turn signals. I am leaving the rear hard bags so for now I will use those for the rear signals. Also if anyone near me is reading. help me find some other wingnutz. :waving: I need to rebuild the carbs and replace the timing belts. Do a flush and any other routine maintenance. I did get it to fire up but wants to idle high.
