Hi all

I'm getting my first wing next week a new GL1800 in silver

Keen to fit a screen without a vent (it's never warm enough to need one here in Edinburgh) I just need to find a supplier in the UK, and do you think I need rear speakers?

Any advice on extras that you consider essential will be gratefully received

Does anyone know if the audio lead is a straight plug in to an IPOD?

Thanks everyone

markh

I would leave the vent in, you'll be suprised how greatful you'll be for it in the summer, and you can close it anyways.

Cyclemax is the place for extras even though its not UK based

Welcome to the Forum from Kansas!!! :waving:

I hope you find the Forum as informative and as much fun as we do!!:cooldevil:

Yes. the lead in or under the left pocket will fit a MP3 player or iPod. Rear speakers? Depends on if you plan on riding without a helmet. If you are wearing a helmet, I wouldn't waste the money. I'm with Tany on the vent, I would leave it in and just close it, you may find the urge to open it in the summer though!

Again, Welcome Aboard!! :action:

Me, I think the stock speakers are plenty good enough.

welcome to the forum markh. i would try it with the vent first(i wish i had a vent in mine sometimes.). do you carry a pillion if so rear speakers would be good. the audio lead does go straight in to the ipod. head sets in your helmet would be useful you then get the music into your helmet and intercom so you can comunicate with your passenger.
