Hello to everyone.



I've had lots of different bikes in the past including: Pan European, BSA Road Rocket, and a 1951 Matchless 500 G80S. Of Wings this is my 4th. All GL1200 Aspencades.

Hope to make a few friends here, well, we certainly have something in common .

Hello to all you nice people,
What a fantastic welcome. Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been down in Kent, UK, my brothers 1200 Aspencade developed a over heating problem - but only on one side ??? (left side), I guessed the exhaust valves might not be closing properly, so I went down and ripped it to bits. The left side ex valves were indeed very heavily coated and appeared to have been running very hot. Its taken me 4 days but its back in one piece again, hopefully, that will sort his problem out. I've a few tech questions but I'll put those in the correct section.

Sorry to reply so late Derek, I've been stuck in Munich for a few weeks and won't see Blighty till end of month.

Got a fair bit of work before she's on the road, hopefully it won't take too long.
