Just thought I would drop in and see how the wingers are doing. Havent been around much since selling my 79 but I like to sneak:waving: inonce in a while. There is always something to learn. I am looking forward to getting my Venture on the road but we still have about 2 feet of snow and sub zero temperatures. I still have a few misc parts left over for old wings if anyone needs anything, maybe I can help.

Hello again Gilles. Do I sense a possible return to Wingdom in the near future, or were you just homesick and decided to look in on us? ;)
If you want an advert posted, send me the details and I'll do it before the weekend.

Just love this site. Thanks for the welcome back messages. I like to keep up on G/W issues because maybe at some point I may ride another g/w. Of course it will be newer than the old 79 and perhaps require less maintenance and it will have a reverse. Just could not turn down the offer I had for the old wing though. I am anxious to try my 86 Venture Royale. It is a 1300cc and has all the goodies.I have gone over it all...valves, tires. brake pads.calipers etc... I am just putting it back together and it should be ready for when the snow is gone..in two months! I will post pics of the parts I still have as soon as I get some time. A little short in supply these days. For those interested, I use the Venture rider site for info, support and advice. They are a pretty good bunch much like this site.

On a different note, for you Irish people, just found out my wife may qualify for her Irish citizenship.I guess that makes my kids,Irish,Scotish,German,French, North American Indian, Catholic and Protestant;in other words, pure Canadian!

May have to paint her bike green....but then it is a Kawasaki:grinner:
