Hi everyone,

I've been checking out this website off and on for as long as I've been semi-seriously thinking about getting back on a street bike, (about 2 years) and I finally went out and got myself a nice low milage '03 1800. What can I say about it that hasn't been said? It has not disapointed me. My wife sure likes riding on it better than the DR350, that's for sure. She even asks me to take her for rides!

I'm hoping to learn more about the bike and I appreciate this excellent site. I have already learned much.Actually,the reason I took 2 years to buy a bike is that as I perused this site the first few times I decided that a 1200 was too small, then the 1500 just wasn't modern enough, and before long I just had to have the 1800... but it took me another year and a half to save up the cash! (I hatepayments!)

Anyway, glad to be a part of the community.

Thanks everyone,
I am about to do my first oil change on the wing and feel like I already know what I'm doing! I now have the service manual courtesy of a link here, and feel much more confident.
