I have a 1980 standard with the engine number sc02 2010319. Your e seems to be an interstate by default. I have also been told that sc = a Canadian model.

SC = Canadian model….. don't think so.
SC has been used on Honda engine numbers since 1980 and includes the GL models, VT models, VF models, CBR models, CBX models and CB models.

Examples are:
1980 CBX… SC03E
1982 CB900F… SC01E
1984 GL1200A… SC14E
1988 GL1500…SC22E
1984 VF1000F…SC15E
1983-86 VT1100C… SC18E
