Unfortunately, I have to replace a saddlebag due to brake fluid eating the bottom out of the original one. The new saddlebag is marroon, the bike is champaign colored, (1987). I love pearl white, but am open to suggestions on what color scheme to paint it.

BTW, it will likely be for sale in the spring, (due to me falling in love with a dragon). I could selll it now, and paint to order!

I like white bikes. I told my wife if I ever had to paint my V-star, it'd be white. The brightest hurt your eyes white I could get my hands on. I believe Mercedes and Chevrolet have the brightest.

edit: I just read the rest of your post. If you are going to sell, and the rest of the bike is in good shape (paint-wise), I'd just paint the bag.

I am partial to the burnt orange on the newer GM vehicles my self. That along with a pearl white accent.:cooldevil:

I have a trade out deal going with a professional auto body guy, so it makes sense to repaint the whole bike, I will pull off all the plastic this winter and let him do his thing, and I will spit shine and polish that is under the plastic, removing rust and repainting frame, etc. I may not sell, but wife believes I should, (and I can't argue with her, 3 motorcycles for a guy that doesn't have time to ride much IS a little much).
