The parts catalog shows an o-ring on it, shouldn't be hard to find one that will work.

16. My phone won’t pull that link up right now but I believe 17 is for the fan switch. 16 is the 13.5mm x 1.4mm iirc

Update: after 10 days of having this torn down, my orings finally came in. While it was down I changed spark plugs, air filter, upper and lower radiator hoses, new clamps all around, thermostat, orings on both the thermostat housing and water pump housing, and repaired my thermosensor. I’m pleased. Now onto the next project. Brakes.

this photo was right as the fan was coming on. It likes to stay between this mark and the one below it.
