All,

Apparently when I rebuilt my carbs, I broke the tip off of the pilot screw on the number 2 carb. How do I get the peice out so that I can put a new pilot screw in the carb?

That might be a tough one Paul. I did that once on an old 750 and had to get a shop to use ultrasound. It was a last resort and worked.

the slot has a deep thread, on my friends 1100 carbs, two pilot scews were stuck and striped the heads, had to file around the threads to show the back of the pilot screw, then used vice grips to unscrew it.

Did you break off the pointy end or the end with the screwdriver slot?

I broke off the pointed end. Just wanted to know if there is a way to get it without removing the carbs and disassembling the #2.

btw. The bike is running good.

If it runs good don't worry about it until the next time you have the carbs off.
