Hello all, one of the kids knocked over the bike the other day and broke off my right mirror. I see you can get the replacement bracket on eBay or amazon from China but takes quite a while for delivery! Does anyone know where I can get a used mirror or find the bracket quicker? The blinker and plastic are perfectly fine, just snapped the plastic frame clean off. Thanks in advance for any help! I have an 02 gl1800

I think the parts are all the same from 2001-2010

check for different years, Honda does funny things with their parts fische
I doubt any dealership will have one, maybe a wrecker should, if they have one of those year bikes. most likely have to buy the whole mirror from them though.

this is the mirror for a 2010,

these two year models look almost identical

this is the 2002 year model

you can change the year in the search box here:

Try an ad in the classifieds, Ebay, or even on Adventure Rider. If that's all you need, I bet lots of guys have them in their garages. I have an 06' with a broken mirror. I think that a screw for may be broken, though. I ended up just buying a new mirror. The actual mirror and signal light mount were broken. It would probably $20.00 for shipping from here, though.

Arranb,

I have had tremendous results finding "unobtainable" parts using the "salvage yard network".

Google the phrase "Motorcycle Salvage Network". The results will give a half dozen sites where you enter your Make/Model/Year/part you need/ and then your email address in the "salvage yard network". HUNDREDS of salvage yards belong to the "network" and are alerted that you are searching for the part and they'll check their "inventory" for it. IF they have the part, they send an email to you saying they have one in stock. You contact them for the price and pay the shipping. IT WORKS GREAT!!!

I had good luck with the one called MrCycleParts, , or something like that. But any of the others could work good too, , ,just dunno

I've had salvage yards email and say they do NOT have the part, but if it comes in, they'll notify me, , ,and that's after I already bought the part from a different salvage yard.

I don't know that it is 100% effective, , , but in my case it worked out very well, , and its worth a try.
