I removed the front fairing on my 2001 to replace a broke lens .no easy task ...is there a trick on getting it back together? seems to be hanging up somewhere

The part was the hedlight lens to access the whole front fairing has to be removed ..even Freds maintenance cds ..which I have... don't fenture into this area .... esentally part of the dash.. windshield and the whole front top fairing came off leaving the front completely naked what I didn't realize till it was to late was you can just remove one side.. anyway after a day of struggling I finally got all the holes to line up and with much push and pull and the help of some clamps ... it's back together
