HELP, WITH PASSENGER FLOORBOARD CABLE

I recently took the entire back half of the body off the winf to change the rear tire. In the process, the cable for the adjustable passenger floorboards, was seperated at the 1 into 2, or the "Y" junction.

Now, I can't seem to get to thye end of the cable at the control end and can't get the cable long enough to get the slide out far enough to re-connect the two cables which rundown to the floorboards.

Does, anyone know how this is reconnected? There seems to be very little info on this on the internet as my many hours of searching have been rather fruitless.

Thanks

Chris

hi chris by any chance is the floorboards in the up position if so you will need to stand on them while you connect the cables to give you more slack also there is ajustment on one of them

You need to take of the little cubby box where the control is for the rests on the right rear side of bike. There are three screws that hold it on in the trunk. Once you get the cubby off you can access the cable and remove it from the lever and this will give you much more cable to get the junction box back together with the two foot rest cables. Any ?? Very easy to get to.. Ride On.......................

I need the slack, in the over end with the single cable. I think I can get the side compartment box from inside the center trunk and will try this weekend if no-one has any additional ideas or experience.
