Very cool!! I've gotten a couple of "behind the scenes" tours at our local zoo, Point Defiance. Once when I donated some tropical marine fish and once with a friend of a friend. Got to feed and play with the Beluga whales and similar to what you did with the polar bears. We were strongly warned to stay in the lines of the path which was just out of the bear's reach through the bars. :shock: That was a kick!! Those guys are impressive from a distance, but even more so from only a few feet. :cheesygrin:

My girlfriend got bitten right through the forearm by a tiger cub that she was carrying a little too loosely by the scruff of it's neck when we worked at the Dartmoor Wildlife Park back in the early 80's
